Dates: Monday, June 28 to Thursday, July 1
Drawing +- This is a four class session of still life drawing in three different mediums. The class will start out with basic pencil drawing focusing on techniques of highlights, shadows, depth, and correct proportions. Next we will explore further and try out pastel and charcoal showing how our own fingers can be key tools. The class will finish with a still life in acrylic. One Stroke Painting Class
Dates: Monday, June 28 to Thursday, July1
Teacher: Ms. Tish Printmaking for Beginners- Learn about the historical art of printmaking. Participants will learn some simple history behind printmaking and produce several personally designed prints in various techniques such as collagraphy which will focus on the design element of texture and Lithography, focusing on line using a variety of materials.

Beaks and Bones - Love animals?
Dates: Postponed Until August. NO CAMERA Photography Fun! - Learn about the world of photography in today's media. This class will explore the many aspects of photographic design in which a camera and computer are used. However, no need for a camera or computer in this class! We will make our own cameras and produce photo's without clicking any buttons. Learn how photography really works right before your eyes by making a pin-hole camera. We will also use a variety of already produced photographs and graphics taken from student's favorite magazines in our projects.
Dates: Monday, July 12 to Thursday, July 15 Scrapbooking 101 - Gather up your photographs from the wedding ten years ago or from last month's birthday bash and use the guidance of instructor Ms. Sara to help you display your memories in a new creative way. This class will give way to many design ideas and tool techniques to make your memories ones brag about.
Dates: Monday, August 2 to Tuesday, August 3

Private and semi-private lessons. Please call for scheduling details. Portfolio Advising Prepare your portfolio presentation for college with Ms. Sara's help. Want to go to college for art? Ms. Sara can help you get it together with important items such as meeting standard requirements, digital slides, personalized art tutoring to help you improve. Private Time Only. Call to schedule. 215-256-4144. Cost: $20.00/45 minutes advising and $40.00/private lessons in areas that need development. Mindsparkz Word: Make reading and writing fun, not a chore! Learn root words, patterns, prefixes and suffixes, and other cool stuff that helps make literacy more enjoyable. Play all kinds of vocabulary building games and win prizes as you go. Also included are "take-home" activities and challenges to encourage at-home summer reading and writing. This is a great way to PREP for standardized tests. This is a competitive program with some first place awards. At the same time everyone ends up a winner! Participants will be grouped by ability levels as well as age. Teacher: Ms. Gretchen. Thursdays: July 1, 8, 15, 22 Mindsparkz Math Don't feel numb when it comes to numbers! Join our Mindsparkz Math program and make it fun! Learn how to enjoy numbers, see them, apply them and use them to gain power! Play all kinds of numerical and spatial relations games. Win prizes as you go. Also included are "take-home" activities and challenges to encourage at-home summer reading and writing. This is a competitive program blue-ribbon award program where everyone ends up a winner! Participants will be grouped by ability levels as well as age. Teacher: Ms. Gretchen. Tuesdays: June 29, and July 6, 13, 20
